Two years ago, it was Greece. Now it’s Turkey. Police cracked down with teargas (and more) on peacefully demonstrating citizens.
In the photo, a teargassed dog receives treatment from fellow demonstrators. In both countries, strays petted and fed by the crowds joined them during the demonstrations and suffered the consequences.
This photo is respectfully dedicated to the people and animals who died during the Turkish demonstrations.
